    Upon removal of the Existing SMUD transformer directly in front of the new 500kVa transformer and the new 1200A 277/480V DPL disconnect, install a flat and level housekeeping pad extension to maintain a minimum 42 inch by as wide as the disconnect level surface in front of the equipment per NEC Art 110-26.



    As it stands presently, there is a 6 inch high by approximately 18-20 inches wide gap between the new housekeeping pad under and in front of the DPL disconnect, and the adjacent SMUD precast transformer pad, causing an uneven surface in the minimum working clearance area directly in front of the DPL disconnect.
